Rare 20 year old mardave r12 rebel racer rc car 1/12th scale original box art rare vintage ! in Ripley, Hampshire for sale
This is a 20 year old mardave r12 rebel racer that ive been doing up but ive got a new project so selling,, As you can see in the picture there is the original chassis and battery,there is also some mini tamiya connectors. I spent alot of time sanding the body down and cleaning it has the previous owner did a poor job on painting it,ive painted it to a very good standard and painted it the same as the box and tried to get the decals to match, ive cut the windows out and front grill and put mesh in,also ive put aluminium chequered plate in the footwells. Ive fitted alot of new parts but kept it has a original has I could it has had a new chassis and ive rewired the speed controlller and fitted the old small tamiya connectors that it when new!!!! It's got all the same radio gear on as it had 20 years ago Sanwa transmitter,receiver and servos. It all works perfect like it did 20 years ago!! All the other parts are original and I cleaned them all and rebuilt the car very neatly!! The tyres are old but they are the originals so I want to keep them on. It comes with a 2500mha nihm battery,There is the standard charger but ive not used nor tested so I would recommend using a modern one!
